Course aims to train participants to safely take charge of a survival craft or rescue boat during and after launch.
The education includes 11.5 school hours of lectures and 17 school hours of exercises and consists of:
- Management of the lifeboat or lifeboat during and after launching
- Operation of the lifeboat engine
- Management of survivors and lifeboat after abandoning ship
- Use of tracking devices, including communication and signaling devices and pyrotechnics
- Providing first aid to survivors
After successfully completing the course and examinations at the Harbor Master's Office, candidates will receive certificate issued by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.
