Proficiency in Security Awareness:

All seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on ships required to comply with the ISPS code are required to undertake the Proficiency in Security Awareness course.

The course provides necessary knowledge, understanding and proficiency to personnel intending to work on ships who will not have any designated security duties.

The course aim is that students be able to demonstrate competance in the following areas:

Contribute to the enhancement of maritime security through heightened awareness
Recognise security threats
Understand the need for and methods of maintaining security awareness and vigilance.

This course is held in our classromms at our purpose built training facility located at Cromhall Quarry, Cromhall, South Gloucestershire, GL12 8AA.
