This is a one day class room based course and forms part of the mandatory basic training for all personnel assigned designated emergency duties.

The course includes the use of manikins for interactive Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and knowledge of A.E.D. automatic external defibrillators.

Certification is by continuous assessment and a practical assessment of skills and knowledge during the course.
