Course Description

This course is a pre requisite for entry to the Merchant Navy. A certificate is issued by the college on the successful completion of the course on behalf of the Maritime Coastguard Agency.

The course will cover:·

• Complying with emergency procedures
• Observing safe working practices
• Understanding orders and being understood in relation to shipboard duties
• Taking precaution to prevent pollution of the marine environment
• Contribute to effective human relationships

Certificate issued on behalf of Maritime Coastguard Agency.
