Skipper Development Programme - Option 3 - choose a programme and have the flexibility of having up to 12 months to complete your training courses from the date of purchase. Select from any of our training course dates throughout the 12 months to suit you.

By having more qualifications and experience you will have more options of employment in the industry you are looking to go into.

Superyachts – This options is aimed at people going for – Deckhand or Engineer crewing positions.

Training Programme

STCW Basic Safety Training Course (5 Days) – The minimum Health and Safety training required for working on commercial vessels;
RYA Powerboat Level 2 (2 Days) – Learn how to drive powerboat upto 10m useful when on ship for driving tenders;
STCW Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (1 Day) – More useful in Superyacht with smaller crew allowing you to stand a watch on the vessel;
Approved Engine Course part 1 (AEC) (5 Days) – the Minimum required course for working as an engineer on commercial vessels;
(FREE) VHF/GMDSS Short Range Marine Radio Course – Online or Classroom (1 Day) – Mandatory, to operate a VHF radio found on most boats for communication;

(FREE) Food Hygiene level 1 – Online (4 Hour) – A basic understand about food hygiene and working in a kitchen/galley.
