Course Aim:

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge & training to enable them to take command, organise & train fire parties and control firefighting operations. They shall also become knowledgeable on how to safely inspect & service fire detection and extinguishing systems.

This course is designed in accordance with IMO model course 2.03.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible to attend this course, students must fulfil the following requirements:

- Be 16 years or older
- Hold a valid STCW basic fire prevention and firefighting certificate (A-VI/1-2)
- Hold a valid seafarers medical certificate (IMO/ILO)
