Course Aim:

The purpose of this course is to improve health and safety onboard ships by providing knowledge to students on how to implement safe working practices on board ships.

Students shall be continuously assessed throughout the course & by means of a short oral examination by a Transport Malta approved examiner.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible to attend this course, students must fulfil the following requirements:

Be 17 years or older
Hold a valid seafarers medical (IMO/ILO)
Hold an STCW Basic Safety Training Certificate
Have at least 6 months sea time logged on vessels of 15m in length or more.
