This two day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. iPowerboat Ltd use powerful RIB's fr the course to match the modern day requirements of the typical powerboats/tenders found in the commercial industry. 

It includes close quarter handling, high speed manoeuvres, man overboard recovery, and collision regulations, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside

Assumed knowledge: None. May be preceded by Level 1

Duration: 2 days.

Minimum Age: 12. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued with an endorsed certificate.

Ability after the course: Self sufficient powerboater in the right conditions, aware of own limitations and those of craft. A commercial endorsement can be added to this certificate.

Suitable for: Adults and children who use/or wish to use boats. It will show you how to operate your boat efficiently and safely. Ideal gift for special occasions.
