Purpose:

The course meets the requirements of the STCW Convention, Section III / 4.
It is intended for seafarers who wish to obtain an appropriate certificate for the performance of a crew member who forms part of a navigational watch in the engine room (lubricant).

Enrollment conditions

• Identity card or passport
• 2 color pictures
• Minimum 16 years of age
• 6 months of navigation service in machine service
• Certificate of completion of education (at least elementary school)
• Certificate (brevet) D2-Basic safety on board
• Medical examination (Occupational medicine, not older than 6 months)

• Machine systems
• Safety and environmental measures
• Diesel engine basics

Remark:

After successfully completing the course and examinations at the Harbor Master's Office, candidates will receive a certificate A crew member who forms part of the Naval Guard in the engine room
