STCW Security Awareness E-Learn Course USCG Approved

The security awareness online course is intended to give you the required knowledge to enhance maritime security awareness by recognizing security threats, remaining vigilant and understanding the Maritime security organization.

Upon successfully completing your assessment, a certificate will be issued in accordance with Regulation VI/6 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) for Seafarers 1978, as amended. The training satisfies the requirements of STCW Section A-VI/6 paragraph 4 as approved by the United States Coastguard.

The course login information will be sent upon enrollment. Upon course completion the final test can be taken either remotely by video (individual or group) or in person. The date for the final test will be arranged with the school.
