Refresh training for Basic Training for Service Personnel on Passenger Ships

This training is for service personnel on passenger vessels only. Personnel from Deck and Engine need to participate in the SCTW Refresh Training for Basic Safety Training (2 days)

The refresh training is based on the following IMO Model Courses:

• Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques (IMO model course 1.19)
• Elementary First Aid (IMO model course 1.13)
• Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (IMO model course 1.20)
• Crowd Management Training (IMO model course 1.28)

Certificate:

Certificate of proficiency issued by the germand federal maritime and hydrographical agency which certifies the completition of the following content in accordance with STCW 78 as amended:

• STCW A-V/2 (1) crowd management training
• STCW A-V/2 (2) specific safety training for personnel on passenger ships
• STCW A-VI/1 (2.1.1) personal survival techniques
• STCW A-VI/1 (2.1.2) fire prevention and fire fighting
• STCW A-VI/1 (2.1.3) elementary first aid
• STCW A-VI/1 (2.1.4) personal safety and social responsibilities
• STCW A-VI/6 (4,6) security awareness with designated security duties
