Our RYA recognised training centre offers a range of RYA courses both in the UK and Superyacht Crew Onboard Training anywhere in Europe in order for crew to gain both the RYA Jetski (PWC) instructor certificate and RYA Tender licences. Our staff have been running Superyacht onboard crew training since 2007 and have an outstanding success record. We run onboard courses on dates to suit your schedule throughout the year and will facilitate the course in a location to suit you. Our previous Superyacht clients have ranged from 20m - 180m. Our UK centre facilitates the full range of RYA Powerboat, and RYA Jetski (PWC) courses, RYA Instructor courses along with a range of online and shorebased courses including VHF Marine Radio, Professional Practices & Responsibilities, Day Skipper, Yachtmaster Offshore, Yachtmaster Ocean.
STCW Online courses are also available for the ISPS Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) and ISPS Proficiency in Designated Security Duties Courses.

My husband and I had a fantastic weekend at Marine Education completing our level 2 powerboat training and VHF license. The course included everything we needed. It was very educational and informative. We had majority of our time on the water which was great to put the practical skills to test. Michael our instructor was brilliant. He answered all our questions and guided us clearly through technique. He was also a lot of fun. Very highly recommend marine education.

amazing learning experience where you get to learn so much about power boats, regulations, etc.
This training is 80% hands on with some theory.
Brian the instructor is really knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to train you in many situations you will encounter on a boat.

We recently completed the RYA PWC instructors course at marine education. I can highly recommend the school, the course was completed under tricky circumstances due to COVID-19 however we didn’t feel this retracted anything away from the course and it’s content. We have all taken a lot away from the course and will certainly return/ recommend to friends as and when needed.

I completed my powerboat level 2 and my SRC marine radio course. The powerboat course was excellent I found Jason an excellent teacher explaining everything in good detail and making it easy to learn not going on to the next thing before we were all confident with the task. I know feel a lot more confident at taking my boat out on my own. The radio course was online learning with a practical and theory exam I was put at ease by Candy who allowed me to take the exams after the powerboat training on day one.

Last week I completed the three day PB Instructor Course with Marine Education, and what a week it was!
Felt very fortunate to have Candy as the trainer, with her no nonsense approach and wealth of experience. After three pretty intense days I came away feeling confident about instructing, and with a new found respect for teachers everywhere!
The combination of single engined RIB and a dual engined Whaler really helped with the breadth of the course.

Today I was given all the tools to complete my RYA PWC certificate. The instruction was first rate, the equipment brilliant, and, although the sea state was challenging, all the teaching was completed. Plus, it was immense fun, in beautiful surroundings. I undertook my powerboat level 2 course with Marine Education last weekend. They were excellent and I would recommend them without hesitation. The course was a good mix of practical and key theory and things were explained and taught in a very clear and helpful way. I recently undertook the two day RYA powerboat level 2 course with Candi as our instructor.
I could not recommend the course and Candi highly enough.
The two days included both slow and fast speed boat handling techniques, a class room session and a passage plan exercise.
It was just myself and two others on the course so there was plenty of time to get behind the wheel. Candi really took the time to answer our questions and make sure everything was explained clearly.
The boat itself, a Boston Whaler, was also really nice and well kept. Lunch was had at the Lake Yard restaurant where the food was delicious.

I'd just like to thank Marine Education for 2 fantastic days out in Poole Harbour. My instructor was really professional, calm at all times and really knowledgeable. I'm amazed at how much I learned! I would definitely recommend Marine Education if you want to learn how to be safe on the water.
