ALS Hellenic Maritime Training Center is a private institution that provides maritime career-oriented education to Seafarers.
Our Training Center offers the most competitively priced range of comprehensive courses needed to upgrade the knowledge, skills and competencies of Seafarers, all whilst maintaining compliance with the amended STCW ’78 (including Manila Amendments 2010), SOLAS, MARPOL 73/78, and MLC provisions.
We are also prepared and willing to design and provide dedicated distance-learning training either in traditional classrooms or through modern synchronous and asynchronous online platforms to the specifications of our customers; with the use of teaching aids, equipment and simulators in compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
The training staff (Instructors, Lecturers, Assessors) at the Center consists of a team of University-level professionals in addition to experienced Master Mariners, Marine Engineers and Doctors of Medicine.
Our Training Center proudly carries the approval of various Flag State Administrations, thus providing endorsed certification of training and operating under ISO 9001:2015 approved by Bureau Veritas and accredited by UKAS.

brilliant, i can really recommend the school.

The facility itself is amazing with the very modern Bridge simulator. The facilitators were very knowledgeable and there was many 2 way communication with plenty of demonstration. My greatest take away was the Medical section. The woman was unbelievable in her methods and demonstrations. Very thorough and very specific which is extremely important with these types of training. Captain that was doing the fire training and emergency training has so much much knowledge and experience and this came through in the way that he was conducting the course. Overall a very good experience and highly recommended. Thank you to all the amazing staff at ALS Hellenic.

Last week I completed my V2 and Security training certificates at ALS.
I came back to the same school where I completed my STCW Training last year, to the people I trust the most for my education as I am embarking in a new industry and I am quite fear ful.

Highly recommended for those looking for a marine training center ‼︎‼︎‼︎ I had to move overseas and get my maritime qualification while working on a busy schedule. I sent emails to many maritime schools, but ALS school was the only one that responded immediately. Nikos sir responded quickly to everything and was flexible with my schedule. I can only thank you for how relieved and happy that made me.
Also, Captain Theologos's classes are very kind and he explains things in a variety of situations in an easy-to-understand manner. If there's something I don't understand, he puts himself in my shoes and explains it to me over and over again. Are there any teachers who teach from the student's perspective? I was looking forward to attending the class. they understood all my feelings of anxiety and gave me guidance.

I travelled all the way from Saudi Arabia to have the STCW and seamans book with ALS and it was 100% worth it.

I just finished my STCW III/4 Motorman course with ALS maritime training center. I am very happy about the course, team and ALS centre itself.
Mr Nikos helped me to arrange course quickly and for certain dates as I had to return to work shortly. I am impressed of service and flexibility of this center.
The course content was comprehensive and up-to-date, perfectly blending theoretical knowledge with practical application on Transas simulator. Lector is an ex. Chief Engineer and Superintendent.
The place is nice, calm and freshly renovated, located on the top floor. Private terrace. Free coffee station with cookies present.

Had to redo my STCW for my new company and was trying to find any Maritime School in Europe. I’ve emailed tons of schools but ALS were the only ones getting back to me immediately. I was called by mister Nikos and he made sure I get the right course before I hop on a plane. They were super flexible with the dates, basically told me they will accommodate me according to my needs and kept in touch through email until my arrival. The ALS team has been super professional and friendly at all times, always made sure we have everything we need.
I’ve had an amazing time in class with super experienced Captains combined with an informative content, easy to understand and perfect facilitation.
